Ferrylight Gallery
Ferrylight Gallery (package app.ferrylight.gallery) is a photo gallery for Android that can also show, download and upload
photos in your own iCloud Photos library. It is made by Ferrylight (“we”).
In short: we have no servers. We never receive your photos, your Apple Account details or your iCloud data. Your Apple Account session stays on your phone.
Photos and videos on your phone
With your permission the app reads photos and videos on the phone, including where they were taken, to show them in the gallery. This all happens on the phone. Your files leave it only when you turn on upload to iCloud or share a file through the Android share menu.
Your Apple Account and iCloud
- Signing in to iCloud is optional. The gallery works without it.
- When you sign in, your Apple Account email or phone number and two-factor codes go straight to Apple
(
idmsa.apple.com,*.icloud.com). Your password itself is not sent: the app sends a cryptographic proof of it (SRP), as Apple’s own website does. Nothing goes to us or anyone else. - The sign-in session (cookies and tokens) is stored only on your phone, in storage other apps cannot read. It is left out of Android backups and of transfers to a new phone.
- The app downloads the list of your iCloud photos, thumbnails and originals from Apple and keeps a cache on the phone.
- If you turn on upload, the photos and videos you choose go to your iCloud Photos library on Apple’s servers.
- Apple handles this data under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Google services
- Google Maps. When you open the details of a photo that has a location, the map comes from Google. Google receives the map area on screen (roughly where the photo was taken) and standard device and network information. The photo is not sent. The Maps SDK also reports crashes inside its own code and basic usage diagnostics to Google. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Remote Config. The app fetches feature switches and service notices from Firebase. This sends a Firebase installation ID, the app version and device details such as language and Android version. No photos and no Apple Account data.
- Google Play. Update checks and purchases go through Google Play under Google’s terms.
What we don’t do
- No ads and no tracking. We don’t add analytics or crash-reporting services; the only diagnostics are the ones Google Maps and Firebase collect for their own services, described above.
- We don’t sell or share personal data.
- We have no user accounts and no server that stores your data.
Security
All connections use HTTPS. Session data stays in the app’s private storage.
Keeping and deleting data
Signing out of iCloud in the app deletes the session and the iCloud cache from the phone. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes everything the app stored. Photos you uploaded stay in your iCloud Photos library; you can delete them there. Google deletes Firebase installation IDs after a period of inactivity.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.

Фото и видео на телефоне
С вашего разрешения приложение читает фото и видео на телефоне, включая место съёмки, чтобы показать их в галерее. Всё это происходит на телефоне. Файлы покидают его, только если вы включите выгрузку в iCloud или поделитесь файлом через меню Android.
Apple-аккаунт и iCloud
- Вход в iCloud необязателен: галерея работает и без него.
- При входе почта или номер телефона Apple-аккаунта и коды двухфакторной аутентификации уходят напрямую в Apple
(
idmsa.apple.com,*.icloud.com). Сам пароль не передаётся: приложение отправляет криптографическое доказательство (SRP), как и сайт Apple. Нам и кому-либо ещё ничего не передаётся. - Сессия входа (cookies и токены) хранится только на телефоне, в хранилище, недоступном другим приложениям. Она не попадает в резервные копии Android и не переносится на новый телефон.
- Приложение загружает от Apple список ваших снимков в iCloud, миниатюры и оригиналы и хранит кеш на телефоне.
- Если вы включите выгрузку, выбранные фото и видео отправляются в вашу медиатеку iCloud Фото на серверах Apple.
- Apple обрабатывает эти данные по своей политике конфиденциальности.
Сервисы Google
- Google Карты. Когда вы открываете сведения о снимке с местом съёмки, карта загружается из Google. Google получает область карты на экране (примерное место съёмки) и стандартные сведения об устройстве и сети. Сам снимок не передаётся. Кроме того, Maps SDK отправляет в Google сведения о сбоях в собственном коде и базовую диагностику использования. См. политику конфиденциальности Google.
- Firebase Remote Config. Приложение получает из Firebase переключатели функций и служебные сообщения. При этом передаются идентификатор установки Firebase, версия приложения и сведения об устройстве: язык и версия Android. Фото и данных Apple-аккаунта там нет.
- Google Play. Проверка обновлений и покупки проходят через Google Play по условиям Google.
Чего мы не делаем
- Нет рекламы и отслеживания. Мы не подключаем аналитику и сервисы отчётов о сбоях; диагностику собирают только Google Карты и Firebase для своих сервисов, как описано выше.
- Мы не продаём и не передаём персональные данные.
- У нас нет аккаунтов пользователей и сервера, где хранились бы ваши данные.
Безопасность
Все соединения идут по HTTPS. Данные сессии лежат в закрытом хранилище приложения.
Хранение и удаление
Выход из iCloud в приложении удаляет сессию и кеш iCloud с телефона. Удаление приложения или очистка его данных удаляет всё, что приложение сохранило. Выгруженные снимки остаются в вашей медиатеке iCloud Фото — удалить их можно там. Идентификаторы установки Firebase Google удаляет после периода неактивности.
Дети
Приложение не предназначено для детей младше 13 лет.
